Prep is the part of the job you do not see afterward, and it is the part that matters most. It means diamond grinding the surface to open the concrete, filling cracks and divots, and dealing with old paint, sealer, oil or glue before anything goes down.

We tell you up front how we treat control joints and how we test for moisture. If another quote is much lower and never mentions prep, ask what was left out.
